REEF
L's Godson and my boy. I was there for his birth so feel pretty attached to him. He's totally brilliant.

day 15 Tallulah Belle 2
Another one, she's a cutie. This is with her 'bunny'. She loves Bunny. She carries it around with her all the time. She even takes it to bed and makes a pillow out of it.

Day 14 ~ Tallulah Belle
Recently I've had friends and family ask why there are hardly any photos of Lulah. The reason is simple, she is a doodle, she is 2. For those of you who don't know what these dogs are like, let me explain. She never sits still. NEVER. She's the happiest, most gorgeous (surprisingly) well behaved pooch, but she has ants in her pants. Simple!
this is one of about 30 photos, this is the only one even marginally in focus!
Aw but we love her!

Day 13
Flowers on our kowhai tree. These are the only three there are. Last year it was covered in bunches of them. I don't know why it has almost none this year. I'm putting it down to the drought.

Day 12
If life gives you lemons...
I never in my wildest dreams thought I would live somewhere that lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruit and mandarins just grew in my garden. It's wonderful. Especially limes...ah mjoitos.

Day 11
These are actually the tiniest of daisies. They grow on a bush, but it's so big I've always called it 'the daisy tree'

Day 10
Kereru - Native Woodpigeon
Right outside my bedroom window. It was there for a good while, eating leaves.

Day 8
The bluebells are just appearing in the garden. I haven't seen them in anyone elses garden in New Zealand.

Day 7
I have to admit to rather loving this! It's also a bit of a cheat as I took it a couple of days ago, but it makes me smile!

Day 4
I'm cheating a bit today, because there are two photographs, but they're both of the same thing. It's a piece of driftwood that we found years ago and it sits on the deck. For some reason these photographs make me think of elephants.
I played around with one of them and made it black and white, the other is as it was taken, I was lying flat out on the deck to get these!
I particularly like the borer ( woodworm) holes you can see.

DAY 3
I'm always taking photographs of lovely vibrant flowers so I thought, for a change, why not take one that's deadish. This is one of the white camillias, still on the plant, completely brown, but still quite beautiful in it's own way.
